I was diagonised and had sugery when I was 8. Had the cast on both legs with a pole to keep my legs apart, then the brace, and finally cruches for a year. Many years later, I am noticing that I am having a severe flare of arthritis on occasions. Going to the clinic to find that the doctors don't really know about the disease, I was giving a pain killer, however my leg is not always bothering me so I am not going to take the medicine regularly.
