Hang in there. I'm having to constantly deal with the pain. I was fortunate that my parents elected not to give me surgery but leg braces and contractions. I started to have real difficulties in high school. In a desperate leap , I started going to a chiropractor. I've been going off and on now for twenty years. Take it with a grain of salt. Because of my posture due to the hip pain I was get fluxlaction of the vertbrates. Now I go once a month to the "Quack"-chiro and take Glucosaime-Chronditin every morning. Alternate none weight baring exercise is critical which includes stretching. I personally have been rock climbing for twenty years and it helps maintina my flexibility. I'm also able to run twice a week ( in the grass). A good hot tub session after working our and always make sure my hips are warm (in the winter) before I go to bed helps me have a good nights rest.
Good luck!
