My husaband had Lp at 9 and had surgery but now he has a severe pain in that same hip 21 years later. He has done all the excersises and is on anti-flams and pain killers but nothing is working. Is it possible that it is coming back? His regular doctor can't give us any answers. He has been for some x-rays and he says that is doesn't look like it's coming back but my hubby can feel the top part of his hip bone sticking out much further than the healthy hip. The dr thinks that this time it's the muscle of tendons that are the problem but I'm not convinced. We are trying so hard to see a specialist about this but so far no luck as his dr that treated him years ago retired. Sometimes my hubby even gets a feeling that the bone is grinding or "popping" Does anyone have any idea about it coming back or not?
